Sustainable packaging: Printed with soy ink and made from FSC certified paper

AROMATICA continues to reduce its impact on the environment. We have started using boxes that are made from FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council™) certified paper to protect forests in a sustainable manner and printed with soy ink which is biodegradable and easy to recycle.

What does "FSC certified" mean?

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is a non-profit organization that sets certain high standards to make sure that forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial manner. If a product is labeled as “FSC Certified,” it means that the wood used in the product and the manufacturer that made it met the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council.

The FSC certification is considered the “gold standard” designation for wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.

What does "Printed with soy ink" mean?

Soy ink is a kind of ink made from soybeans. As opposed to traditional petroleum-based ink, soy-based ink is considered to be more environmentally friendly, might provide more accurate colors, and makes it easier to recycle paper.

We want to work with nature not against it, making beauty products that look after you and the planet.
